This Taprite Deluxe Foam on Beer Detector (FOB) is made entirely from durable, high-impact, food-grade plastics and offers reliable performance in commercial draft environments. It automatically stops beer flow when a keg runs dry, preventing the foaming that typically occurs during changeovers. As beer flows normally, a ball float remains suspended at the top of the chamber. When the keg empties, the float drops and seals the outlet port, halting beer flow and keeping the lines full of liquid—not foam.

This simple yet effective system helps eliminate beer waste and improve efficiency. Designed for use with CO2 or mixed gas pressurized setups, it operates without the need for a control box.

Please Note: FOBS are best used in pubs or breweries, they are NOT needed on shorter setups such as with kegerators.
