Here is a a magnetic stirrer bar. It is highly recommended to have an extra one of these readily available in case the original bar cannot be found. This raised stir bar is specifically designed to facilitate stirring action inside the flask, yet due to its small size, it can occasionally be unintentionally poured down the drain.
