Stainless Steel "A" Style Sanke Coupler is made out of durable 304 stainless steel and is NSF approved. This ensures that beer only comes in contact with santiary stainless steel. It features a high-capacity 55-PSI pressure relief valve that is build directly into the coupler body. When functioning with other relief devices in the system, it will prevent a keg from reaching pressures in excess of recommended working pressure. It also allows the user to relieve pressure when needing to prevent or correct dispensing problems. The squeeze lever handle controls the flow of gas; up position is off, down position is on.
To install rotate clockwise on the keg valve until secure. Squeeze the lever handle and push down; this opens the keg valve and pressure inlet on the coupler. You are now ready to dispense. This coupler can be quickly dismantled for cleaning and periodic service. No special tools required.
The gas port is 3/8" OD in diameter and will fit hose with an ID of 3/8" or 5/16".
Sanke "A" style couplers are used by breweries such as Hoegaarden, Paulaner, Spaten, and Warsteiner.
Please Note: A Tail Piece Assembly is recommended as these parts are needed to properly hook up a Sanke Coupler to tubing.
