Stainless Steel Quick Disconnect Camlock Fitting - Female QD X 1/2" Cam

You can now use two types of hardware fittings with this 304 Stainless Steel Female Quick Disconnect with 1/2" Camlock.

While this Stainless Steel fitting does not work with brass or plastic quick disconnects, it will hold pressure when moving liquids at 60 PSI or less.

This fitting is compatible with Type A, E & F camlock hardware.

Note Regarding "Fit":

Occasionally it may be difficult to connect your male and female camlocks. This is often due to manufacturing tolerances, and at times, even the thickness of the gasket means more pressure is needed when pushing on the cam arms.

This short video from Ontario Beer Kegs will show you how to use a camlock and some of the available different types.

Camlock Tips:

Be sure to close both cam arms simultaneously, not one at a time
While closing the cam arms, push the two fittings together to compress the gasket slightly
A small amount of lubricant on the cams where the grooves contact helps (anything food grade such as vaseline or keg lube will work)
Break in the gaskets by leaving the mating pair connected for a few days, this makes it easier to reconnect in the future
