This fitting can be soldered or welded into the existing holes on our 'weldless' kettles, allowing you to attach a 1/2" Female NPT threaded ball valve to the outside, and still have a 1/2" Male NPT port inside the kettle for attaching your pickup tube or bazooka screen.
They can also be used to extend a Male or Female NPT port an additional 1 1/8" and attach an NPT fitting to it.
