This fitting is made out of 304 stainless steel and is designed to be used with 1" & 1.5" TC hardware, it attaches with a 1.5" Tri-Clamp. The female NPT connection allows the attachment of 1/2" Male NPT hardware.
Compared to the standard tri-clover fittings of the same type, these variants have a significant advantage thanks to having a tapered face to help guide liquids down towards the NPT fitting. In addition it helps by reducing turbulence, drag, and most importantly it prevents any kind of pooling.
