Five Star PBW Tablets (10 g - 12 CT)

New to the Five Star line of cleaning products, these PBW tablets come in a container that holds 12 tablets that are 10 grams each. PBW is a buffered alkaline detergent that is a far better substitute for caustic soda cleaners. Extremely effective in removing protein soils found on brew kettles, fermenters, conditioning tanks, and filters thanks to being formulated as a C.I.P. cleaner.

Thanks to the formulation of buffers and mild alkalis, it is safe on both skin and soft materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and plastics. Works well in a large range of temperatures and is effective in hard and soft water.

Usage Directions:

• Fill container with water that is between 37.8° C (100° F) to 71° C (160° F)
• Add 1 tablet per 1 gallon of water for kegs, fermenters, carboys, and other equipment
• Wait for tablet to completely dissolve in the water
• Soak equipment for 15 - 30 minutes, longer soak time may be required for heavier soil load. Use brush as needed to help clean soils
• Rinse away with water that is the same temperature as the cleaning solution
• Environmentally friendly, biodegradable, and will not harm septic systems)
