Oak Cubes - American Medium Toast (6 oz)

These oak cubes (oak beans) lend an aromatic sweetness paired with campfire, roasted coffee, and caramelized oak character. Subtle notes of vanilla, light fruit, and toasted wood add depth and balance, while contributing a smooth mouthfeel. Typically used during secondary fermentation or aging, these cubes are ideal for long-term maturation of beers such as Imperial Stouts, Barleywines, and Sour Beers. Extended contact of 3 - 6 months allows for a complex and well-integrated oak profile. Each package contains 6 oz of fine oak cubes.

Oak cubes allow for homebrewers and winemakers to impart a terrific oak flavour and aroma by aging in carboys, plastic buckets or steel tanks.

Usage Directions:

• Suggested amount is 2.5 - 3.5 ounce per 5 gallons of beer or wine
• Leave cubes in contact for a minimum of two to three months
