This 1.5" Tri-Clamp butterfly valve is made from 304 stainless steel and features a pull-trigger handle with three locking positions for quick and reliable control. Its compact design is ideal for tight spaces where larger valves won’t fit.
The outward-pull handle allows smooth rotation and easy unlocking, making it user-friendly during CIP cycles or fast transfers. Compared to tri-clover-compatible ball valves, butterfly valves are lighter, simpler to clean, and minimize debris buildup thanks to their streamlined design.
Best for quick open-close control, butterfly valves work well on fermenters and vessel outlets. For applications needing finer flow control—like sparge or vorlauf lines—we recommend using a ball valve instead.
