This wine/wort cask bladder is made out of triple layer plastic and can hold up to 20 liters. The triple layer design works by having the first layer provide high chemical resistance making it suitable for a wide range of beverages. Meanwhile the second and third layer are laminated together for improved strength, puncture resistance, and superior oxygen barrier properties.
The high temperature resistance makes it perfect for storing your hot fresh wort directly in the bladder. Transfer your own fresh wort kits and store for later. In addition the high oxygen barrier in the membrane makes these bags suitable for storing wort for 1 - 2 years. Doing so allows you to not have to ferment on the same day, giving you far more flexibility.
These hot wort bladders can be reused by cleaning and boiling them to sterilize for future use.
