This hop spider is made using 304 stainless steel, the mesh has an aperture of .2mm that allows it to catch 99% of hop materials whil still allowing hops to move about in the kettle.
It is perfect for containing hops while brewing beer, preventing pesky hops from entering your chiller or fermenter. The spider is to be positioned to sit over the edge and extend 16 3/8" into your kettle or keggle. While boiling, hops can be directly poured into the spider.
