Introducing Lightning Yeast Nutrient from Escarpment Labs, a specially formulated blend designed to optimize fermentation for beer yeast, hard seltzers, and ciders. Unlike traditional beer brewing, hard seltzers ferment differently because they rely solely on fermentable sugars like dextrose, lacking the essential nutrients naturally found in malt. To support a healthy and efficient fermentation process, yeast requires a carefully balanced mix of specific nutrients and sugars. Lightning Yeast Nutrient provides the ideal combination to ensure proper yeast performance, resulting in a cleaner, more reliable fermentation for your brew.

- (1) one gram provides yeast nutrient for (5) five gallons of wort
- For larger batches use (5) grams per (1) one barrel of wort
- For non-beer applications such as hard seltzer, increase the dosage rate 2x and supplement the fermentation with 180 ppm of free amino nitrogen (FAN)
- Yeast Lightning should be dosed into wort at the end of boiling and prior to cooling
- Store below 30ºC (86ºF)
