This floating dip tube filter is made out of HDPE plastic and uses a 80 micron stainless steel mesh screen.
It is designed to work by simply pushing in the compatible tubing.
The filter attaches to your tubing which helps prevent hops or other solids from getting sucked into the tubing itself. The mesh screen is fine enough to filter out hops and many other solids while still allowing liquids to flow freely. The end cap can be easily popped off for cleaning.
For optimal performance it is recommended that when cutting your tubing it is cut straight, not on an angle, this helps to ensure a complete seal.
Meant to be used with 1/4" OD (6.35mm) Polyethylene Tubing.
