This Kegland DigiBoil Electric Kettle is a versatile, multi-purpose electric boiler built from food-grade 304 stainless steel and designed to serve a wide range of brewing and heating applications. Whether you need a dedicated boil kettle for 5-gallon batches or want to pair it with a pump and heat exchanger for HERMS recirculation, the DigiBoil delivers reliable performance at an accessible price point. It can also be paired with a distillation lid and condenser to get you started with distilling.
The 35L DigiBoil features a dual-element heating system consisting of a 1000W and a 500W element, providing a combined output of 1500 watts on a standard 110V plug. Each element can be independently controlled through the integrated rocker switches, allowing you to engage a single element for gentle temperature holds during mashing or steeping, or fire both simultaneously for a fast ramp to a rolling boil. The digital display allows precise temperature adjustments in increments of 1°C/1°F and can be toggled between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
A key feature of the Generation 2 model is the upgraded glass lid, which gives you clear visibility of your liquid during heating and boiling without needing to lift the lid and lose heat. The kettle also comes equipped with a high-quality stainless steel ball valve fitted with a 1/2" OD barb. Alternatively, the barb can be removed to accept 1/2" Female BSP fittings for easier integration into your existing setup.
The lid for these units are designed to be airtight. It is normal to push them in with force and use the clamps to secure in place.
This unit needs to be cleaned before use or testing to remove manufacturing oils. Failure to clean it first will cause some staining that will need to be removed with Bar Keepers Friend Cleanser. Specifications:
