The Blichmann BrewVision Extension Cable is meant to extend the range of the BrewVision Thermometer by allowing you to place the transmitter in a more convenient location so as not to reduce it's range. The BrewVision Thermometer does NOT require line of sight to function, however walls and other obstacles will reduce it's range. To alleviate this issue simply plug in the extension cable and position your BrewVision Thermometer somewhere open.
