SS Brewtech Weldless Thermowell - 4"

The thermowell is a tubular instrument that fits into a drilled hole in your kettle and the probe part of it extends into the wort. Its purpose is to accurately and safely read temperatures of wort without exposing the temperature gauge to the direct heat where breakage could occur.

The stainless steel thermowell wall of the probe heats up to the wort temperature. The inserted gauge then reads the temperature accurately. This thermowell is 5 1/4" in total length, extends 4 " into the wort, and fits into a 17mm port on the kettle.
