Rum Barrel Chips - 4 oz (113 g)
A well aged rum barrel would be hard to come by these days. To capture the tradition of the barrel, Brewers Best has introduced rum barrel chips to steep in the beer in the second fermentation stage.
Two ounces of chips for five gallons of beer should achieve the required results, or for a stronger flavour steep 10 days in total. Place the chips into a muslin bag to keep the chips from leaking into the brew.
Store any remaining chips in a sealed container.
