This product presents a 2-part configuration ball valve compatible with 3" tri-clover connections. It is designed to be disassembled for cleaning and should be treated as a threaded ball valve, requiring cleaning after each use.
Ball valves excel in regulating flow rates compared to butterfly valves. In general, we recommend using butterfly valves for vessel outlets and on fermenters, while employing ball valves for pump outlets and vessel returns such as mash tun sparge and vorlauf returns.
