The BrewBuilt Ludicrous Coil is made from 304 stainless steel and is built to deliver exceptional temperature control—critical for consistent, clean fermentation. Excessive fermentation heat can lead to off-flavours, but this high-efficiency coil helps prevent that by offering a large surface area for superior cooling compared to standard chilling coils.

Beyond fermentation, it can quickly bring beer down to cold-crashing temperatures when paired with glycol and proper insulation. Whether you’re stabilizing temps or rapidly cooling, this coil is built for precision and performance.

Designed for use with BrewBuilt 7 and 14 gallon conical fermenters, it's also compatible with any vessel featuring a 4" tri-clover opening—as long as it can accommodate the 23 1/4" total length (18 1/2" coil height). The lid includes 3/8" OD inlets/outlets with ball lock connections, plus a 1.5" tri-clover ferrule for integrating additional TC accessories.

A floating dip tube is also included, allowing for pressure transfers from the top of the fermenter—reducing sediment pickup and improving beer clarity.
