Danstar Munich Classic Wheat Beer Dry Ale Yeast. This strain is used in a number of breweries to produce Bavarian-style wheat beers. Munich Classic Wheat yeast has a notable quick start and vigorous fermentation, which can be completed in as little as 4 days above 17°C.
Munich Classic is a non-flocculent strain. Some settling can be promoted with cooler temperatures post-fermentation, or by adding fining agents. The aroma and flavour have balanced fruity esters and spicy phenol notes. Recommended use at traditional ale temperatures of 55° - 66°F.
