This fitting is made out of 304 stainless steel and is meant to be used with other quick disconnect hardware (although, it does not work in conjunction with plastic or brass quick disconnects).
It features a 5/8" OD barb on the end for easy connectivity to any 1/2" and 5/8" ID tubing you may have. For typical brewing applications, this connection will hold pressure when moving liquids at 60 PSI or less.
