This Tri-Clover shank sample port is made out of strong and sanitary 304 stainless steel. It attaches to a standard 1.5" TC connection and allows the attachment of almost any beer faucet. Attaching a beer faucet directly to your fermenters and brite tanks allows you to sample your beer easily anytime.
Ideally forward sealing or auto-close beer faucets are recommended as they are designed to control the flow and avoid over pouring. Choosing a faucet of this type is recommended as standard faucets could result in losing a large quantity of beer.
It is compatible with Taprite, Micro Matic, Perlick, and Nukatap self-closing faucets however it is recommended that a with a are used. Standard Nukatap faucets with auto-close springs will not work.
It can be removed and is completely washable making this sample port extremely easy to clean and sanitize before and after use.
