This pressure relief valve is made out of 304 stainless steel and relieves the interior tank pressure when the PSI goes above 22 PSI (1.5 BAR). Attaching this to your tank helps prevent the interior build up of pressure. In addition it will protect your tank from imploding in the off chance that the tank is subject to vacuum pressure.
