To prevent this, the cap includes an O-ring that creates a watertight seal, keeping the probe moist and ensuring accurate readings. To keep your electrode in top condition, rinse it with water, store it in KCl solution inside the cap, and secure the cap tightly. This will help maintain accurate readings over time.
