Duotight (Push-In) Beer & Water Filtering Kit - 3/8" (9.5mm)

Filtering is no longer exclusive to commercial breweries. Now, you can achieve the same time-saving benefits in the comfort of your own home. Filtering your beer not only results in a clearer and brighter brew, but it also eliminates the need for weeks of secondary aging. This means you can enjoy better-tasting beer much faster than before. During secondary aging, more yeast settles out of suspension along with proteins, polyphenols, and other flavor compounds that contribute to the "green" taste of un-aged beers. By filtering, you can get rid of most of these unwanted elements in just minutes instead of waiting for weeks. Simply connect the filter inline between two keg outlets and use CO2 to push the beer through the filter before carbonation. The result? Crystal clear and cleaner-tasting beer that's ready to enjoy.

The filtering kit includes a Duotight Shut Off Valve and Fitting, specifically designed for use with 3/8" OD (9.5mm) Polyethylene Tubing. Both fittings feature dual EPDM o-rings, providing superior sealing capacity thanks to their larger sealing surface area compared to other push-in fittings. This enhances reliability and significantly reduces the risk of leaks. For optimal performance, it is recommended to cut the tubing straight, rather than at an angle, to ensure a complete seal.

In addition to the Duotight components, this kit includes mounting hardware, a mounting bracket, and a beer filter housing.
