The wort chiller is ideal for cold crashing the wort to reach yeast pitching temperature in the shortest time possible. If the ground water is cold enough, the wort can be cooled to the desired temperature in just 10-15 minutes.
The 40 plate wort chiller is an excellent tool for saving time and water. It comes with integrated garden hose fittings and half-inch hose barb fittings, making the hook-up process simple. The female garden hose fitting connects to the faucet for water in, while the male garden hose fitting is for water out. The barbed fittings are for wort in and out.
