American Hefeweizen Ale Yeast - WLP 320
As its name suggests, WLP320 American Hefeweizen Ale Yeast is a strain best suited for American Wheat Beers, which have a more toned-down banana and clove character, and tend to put more emphasis on hops in terms of aroma.
Brewing stronger wheat beers like Weizenbock is also easy with this strain, as it gives a lot of room for malt flavour and doesn't take too long to reach final gravity.
WLP320 is definitely an interesting specialty strain that gives more space for experimenting with various hops and malts if compared to classic Hefeweizen strains like the WLP300.
|Description:||When you need the body and appearance of true Hefeweizen without the heavy clove and banana flavours produced by classic German strains, WLP320 American Hefeweizen Ale Yeast will be the perfect for the job. This strain is characterized by low flocculation that delivers the famous cloudy body, and follows the general character of classic Hefeweizen strains in terms of attenuation and alcohol tolerance.
