WLP 002 - English Ale Yeast
Sourced from one of the largest and oldest independent British breweries, WLP002 English Ale Yeast is the classic British strain you’ll never get tired of.
Best suited for fermenting traditional British ESBs, this strain will prove to be an excellent pick for making almost any British beer style where the peculiar ale flavour is required.
With somewhat low attenuation and lower alcohol tolerance, WLP002 tends to produce clear beers with sensible residual sweetness that are defined by a mild ether presence in flavour and aroma.

Due to high flocculation, this strain will produce a very solid yeast sediment after fermentation, leaving the body clear and somewhat under-attenuated.
