The Thermowell with Heat Shield - Stainless Steel - 1/2" NPT can comfortably accommodate any standard sized 1/2" female NPT fitting. It measures 9"" in total length, with a heat-shielded segment that is 5" long and 3/4" in diameter.

The heat-shielded portion excels at defending your wires and cables from the intense heat generated by a burner. This shield contributes to eliminating false temperature measurements, thus ensuring a higher degree of accuracy.

The probe part extends 4" into your kettle, offering sufficient reach without being excessively obtrusive. The probe's inner diameter measures at 5/16" and the outer diameter at 3/8".
