This washer is designed to serve as a replacement for the washer located beneath the bonnet of a Taprite faucet in case it loses its ability to create a tight seal. To install it, simply unscrew the upper sections of the faucet, remove the current washer, and then screw the new washer in place before reassembling the faucet.
