Conical Fermenter Stainless Steel Weldless Thermowell - 11 1/2"

This Weldless Thermowell is made out of 304 Stainless Steel and is meant to attach to the Chiller Lids for all sizes of Conical Fermenters. It attaches to the lid using 1/4" NPS threading and comes equipped with a nut and o-ring.

Thermowells are designed to be installed on vessels, providing a means to insert a thermometer probe or temperature controller sensor through their hollow tubes. They serve the dual purpose of keeping temperature sensors away from the immersed liquid and shielding them from external elements such as flow-induced forces, pressure, and the chemical effects of boiling wort. The heat from the process fluid is transferred to the thermowell's walls, which in turn is detected by the sensor.

This weldless thermowell is not only compatible with standard brewing thermometers but also works seamlessly with temperature control sensors from renowned brands like Ranco and Johnson.
