These American Heavy Toast Fine Oak Chips will help homemade beer or wine produce those oak-aged characteristics traditionally requiring a barrel. They will provide a pleasant sweetness along with great vanilla notes. Heavy toasted means hints of coffee and also impart an excellent mouthfeel and body.

We recommend using a muslin bag to contain the oak chips while soaking in your beer for easy removal and ease of transferring.
