The lightest crystal malt produced by Briess, Caramel 10 Malt, is a versatile ingredient that will find its place in various recipes. Roasted to a very light degree, this caramel malt is comparable in colour to some of the slightly darker base malts, which means that Caramel 10 won’t affect the colour in any significant way.

When using larger amounts of not more than 15% of the total grain bill will also deliver a very mild candy-like flavour, which can add complexity to a very broad range of styles from Pale Ales to Stouts and Porters.
