German Tettnang Hop Pellets - 1 oz (28 g)
Usage: Aroma
Aroma: Spicy, pepper and black tea.
Description: | For when you feel a particular desire to brew a really traditional beer, the original German Tettnang hop should certainly be a part of your recipe. Hailing from the German city of the same name, Tettnang has been used extensively in traditional beers all over Europe. Its primarily characteristics include spice, black tea and herbs, all mixed into a very mild and pleasant aromatic cocktail. As with most noble hop varieties, Tettnang can be used both as a bittering and as an aroma hop, though its low alpha acid content makes it more suitable for milder beer styles such as Pilsner, Vienna, Bitter, Heffeweizen, Amber Ale and others. |
