As its name suggests, Mandarina Bavaria boasts a distinct aroma of tangerines that can add an interesting twist to any hop-forward beer.
Its high co-humulone levels also contribute to a pronounced bitterness, which still isn’t too harsh when used for bittering. However, the primary application of Mandarina Bavaria is late boil additions and dry hopping, which can deliver amazing results even when used on its own. Suitable for anything ranging from Pale Ale and IPA to Heffeweizen and Stout, where the peculiar hint of tangerine is a welcome trait.
