Candi sugar is an inverted sugar composed of short molecular chains, making it highly fermentable by most brewers' yeast strains. As a result, it contributes to a dry finish and increases the alcohol content of any beer it is used in.
The manufacturer recommends that you use this Candi Syrup within 30 days of being opened. Unopened, it does have a shelf life of about 6 months at room temperature.
