Whisky Barrel Chips - 4 oz (113 g)
Using the traditional flavour of an aged whisky barrel will add character to your brew.
Two ounces of chips per 5 gallons of beer, steeped about 5 days in the second fermentation process, should achieve the desired effect. If the taste is not yet strong enough, steep for another 5 days.
To prevent leakage of the chips into the beer, we suggest using a muslin bag for steeping.
It would be best if you stored the remaining chips in an airtight container for freshness. These chips are sanitized when packaged.
