Using the traditional flavour of the aged whisky barrel will add character to your brew.

Two ounces of chips per 5 gallons of beer, steeped about 5 days in the second fermentation process should achieve the desired effect. If the taste is not yet strong enough, steep for another 5 days.

To prevent leakage of the chips into the beer we suggest using a muslin bag for steeping.

The remaining chips should be stored in an airtight container for freshness. Chips are sanitized at packaging.
