Dry English Ale Yeast - WLP 007

With high attenuation and fairly high alcohol tolerance, WLP007 Dry English Ale Yeast is a rather popular choice for making high gravity English ales that require a distinctly dry finish. While sharing the general character with WLP002, this particular strain has a drier finish and better attenuation, which will be a welcome trait in certain beer styles. It doesn’t have the residual sweetness common to other similar British ale strains. Hence, its best applications include IPAs, Pale Ales, Robust Porters, Dry Stouts, Northern English Brown Ales, Red Ales, and other drier British beers.
