This malt carries a wonderful sweet caramel flavour, that is produced from a roasting process not the kiln.

Made from high quality organic certified barley, this is a medium roasted caramel malt that fits a broad variety of styles.
If you want to add a touch of colour and body to a lighter beer such as Helles or Pilsner, about 1-3% of Briess Organic Crystal 60 will do the trick.
For a pronounced caramel character and deeper colour in Bock, Barleywine, Stout or Porter, using 5-15% of Briess Organic Crystal 60 will contribute to an excellent and complex flavour.
