Dingemans Biscuit Malt is a lightly roasted specialty malt that will add a degree of complexity to any dark beer. It is characterized by a pleasant biscuit, bread-like toasted flavour and aroma, which is marvelous when incorporated into malt-forward recipes.
|Description:||With virtually no enzymatic activity, Biscuit Malt should be used as an adjunct with a strong base malt to be fully converted during the mash.
It confers a deep brown colour when added at the recommended maximum rate of 15%, which works great for Stouts, Belgian Dark Ales, Brown Ales, Bocks, and Porters, but can also be used in smaller quantities for making lighter beers more complex in terms of flavour.
