Danstar Nottingham Dry Ale Yeast
Nottingham is used in many different styles of beer, and is selected for its high flocculation and full attenuation abilities.
It is best described as a neutral ale yeast that allows the natural flavour of the hops and malt to shine through. It creates only a mild fruity and estery aroma.
- Best fermentation temps range between 14 to 21C°
- Ferments well at lower temps of 12C/54F; at this temperature lagers can be produced
- Has the ability to create higher alcohol content for specialty beers
- An all-round dry ale yeast
