Description: The progenitor of the majority of modern-day high-alpha hop varieties, Brewer’s Gold boasts an English origin and has been used well since the beginning of the 20th century. Today this variety can still be found in an impressive number of commercial beer recipes, mainly due to its excellent bittering qualities that deliver a clean and rounded bitterness.

Being primarily a bittering hop, Brewer’s Gold can still be used for late kettle additions, where it contributes an interesting spicy aroma. Can be used for brewing virtually any style of beer, from balanced ESB, Stout or Pilsner, to more extreme IPA, Imperial Stout or Barleywine.
