This handy tool is designed to regulate the flow of wort allowed onto the top of the grain bed. When the floating ball is all the way down, the flow rate will increase. As the ball rises with the liquid level, the flow rate slows, preventing an overflow.
- A kettle, keg or cooler, with a 12" inside diameter or greater is required.
