This Ball Valve is made out of 304 Stainless Steel and is meant to serve as a replacement for all sizes of Conical Fermenters. Inside the hollow valve, there resides a perforated pivoting ball responsible for regulating the liquid flow. When the hole aligns with the flow, the valve is open, but when the handle is pivoted to 90 degrees, it closes. Accompanying the valve is an external food-grade silicone o-ring, which forms a seal between the valve and the outer surface of the fermenter.
